My name's Mike D and I'm the ladies choice. I want to get next to you like Rose Royce

NFL Bits

--Seriously Cowboys, a win and you're in scenario leads to the biggest blowout suffered under Jerry Jones?! Out-freakin-standing.

--Aaron Rodgers 6th in QB rating. Brett Favre 21st. Rodgers 28 TDs and 13 INTs. Favre 22 TDs and 22 INTs. When the Jets lost their season finale Favre threw 3 INTs or more INTs in that one game than TDs he threw in their last 5 games combined. Please don't string the up in your butt national media along this time, Brett. Just say goodbye. Biggest joke of the season Brett Favre and Jay Cutler in the Pro Bowl over Chad Pennington and Phillip Rivers.

--Matt Schaub finished 4th in completion percentage and only Phillip Rivers averaged more yards per attempt.

--Chris Johnson didn't hardly play on Sunday, which gave Steve Slaton the chance he needed to finish as the league's leading rookie rusher in the best class of rookie backs I can ever remember. Slaton 6th in rushing overall, Matt Forte and Chris Johnson finished right after Slaton. Slaton's 4.8 yards a carry tied for 5th with Adrian Peterson and, of course, Pierre Thomas.

--As you know by now Andre Johnson led the league in both receptions and receiving yardage. I think he's good. What do you think?

--Congratulations to the Rams for scoring a second half TD on Sunday considering it was their first in the second half in 6 games.

--Cleveland only went it last 24 quarters of the season without an offensive TD so I don't know why everyone is getting fired there.

--Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward became just the 4th pair of teammates to each rush for over 1,000 yards. The others were Larry Csonka/Mercury Morris, Franco Harris/Rocky Bleier, and Kevin Mack/Earnest Byner.

--Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Steve Breaston became the 5th trio of teammates to each break the 1,000 yard receiving mark in the same season.

--Drew Brees came up just 16 yards short of breaking Dan Marino's single season mark of 5,084 passing yards.

--Big shock turnover margin is important. The top five teams in that department are all still alive. Atlanta is the only team who finished in the negative to make the postseason.

--The Lions have lost 23 of their last 24. That's not good. Neither is losing 23 of your last 25 like the Chiefs have done. Kansas City also finished with a pathetic 10 sacks this year. As a team K.C. finished 10th in the league tied with Darren Howard with those 10 sacks. Back to Detroit...on Sunday they became the first team ever to allow 2 100-yard rushers and 2 100-yard receivers in the same game. Ouch.

--The Raiders and Bears both had a TE and RB in the first two spots for their respective total receptions. Might want to look at that in the offseason guys and not in the Javon Walker way Al.

Quick Hitters and Random Thoughts

--If you are betting money line favorites in MMA you're just giving away money. Example numbers 234, 235, and 236 were Saturday. Can't give enough credit to Rashad, Rampage, and Mir. Just great stuff from all three of those guys.

--I don't know what the plot of Oppai Volleyball is, but I've always been a big fan of Haruka Ayase.

--Yeah, Aaron Boone is not exactly the answer for the Astros, but the addition of his lovely wife former Playmate Laura Cover should yield immediate results.

--J.D.'s brother coming back on Scrubs?! Fan-tastic!

--Not in time for when I was in New York, but The Food Network is going to start offering tours of its studios for $20 a pop. Personally I think winning a tag-a-long trip with Guy on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives would be the best prize Food could offer...assuming you could just ignore Guy.

--The new My Bloody Valentine is in 3-D?!

--Seriously Julie Louis Dreyfuss you really want to be in Celebrity Skiing with the likes of Gavin Rossdale, Heidi and Spencer, and Steve Sanders? Well, I'll grant you Steve Sanders, but.

--Your newest Fangbangers coming to True Blood next season are Ashley Jones and Anna Camp.

--Howie Did It?! Really NBC?

--C'mon Michael Cera get your ass in gear and commit to an Arrested Development movie like everyone else has.

--Melanie Collins formerly of Tempe 12 to Turner Sports?! This is a good thing.

--Tina Fey your AP Entertainer of the Year. I assume Kevin James is the early front runner for 2009 honors because how awesome and hilarious does Paul Blart: Mall Cop look? Robert Downey Jr. and Heath Ledger were 2nd and 3rd.

--Hate the Jazz, don't care for the Mavericks, but Dirk fell victim to the worst flop in the history of the National Basketball Association over the weekend...

--Damages Season Two gets closer and closer...

--Things I learned on TMZ this week....Rudy T. once bought a house from Girls Gone Wild d-bag Joe Francis. Apparently the guy who bought it from Rudy T. is suing Rudy and Joe something about fraud something or other.

--NBA All-Star Saturday and BCS National Championship Game in 3-D? Great. A Cleopatra musical with Hugh Jackman and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Ummm...

Questions, comments or if all you wanted for Christmas was a Snuggie...
