But I Can Stand My Ground And I Am Down

Quick Hitters and Random Thoughts

--WTF Rampage?!?!?!?

--TV Land is getting in on the reality tv fun. Family Foreman comes your way this week as the show follows around Jay or George Foreman (whichever has all his sons named George). I imagine every single meal being made utilizing a certain grill. The Bio Channel is gonna offer up The Chris Isaak Hour.

--Simpsons variety show on Fox = good idea. Osbournes variety show on Fox = bad idea.

--Jimmy? Sarah? Honestly, why go on?

--I've been pimping Mad Men for a while now, it's just an awesome, authentic show that is beyond comparison. The second season begins Sunday July 27th. On the 20th AMC is running a marathon of season one for you to catch up. The cool looking Zippo DVD set has been out a couple of weeks. Apparently the show's creator has himself a time frame for the entire series. Every season is going to jump two years ahead of time over the 4 seasons of life the show has been given so it'll end with Don Draper in 1969. Out-standing!

--Courtney Cox on Scrubs next season?!

--Amy Poehler in The Office spin off?!

--Now Silver is saying he and Megan Fox are still doing fine. Either way it means we get to keep Megan Fox's Diatribe pic streak alive...

--I saw a pic of Kobe getting out of a Delorean the other day and thought oh that's nice. Now apparently it was at some event that he headlined and Nike FINALLY gave us what we've all wanted for years now. Yep, the Air McFlys from Back to the Future 2. Of course, they only made 350 pairs and now they're going for over $1000 on eBay so I'm thinking I still won't be sporting them anytime soon.

--Crisis averted. Larry David is bringing Curb back for another season. Said season won't start airing until early next year though.

--Writing of HBO...this September Chris Rock will have a stand-up special airing.

--Finally we have a professional cyclist I think we'd all like to get behind...
LIZ HATCH

--Sienna Miller and married with four kids Balthazar Getty?!

--Wait Dara Torres ended her first marriage and then married her fertility doctor who treated her and her first husband successfully (I guess a baby is successful or maybe that's just doing your f'n job. I don't know).

--LeBron v. Yao...

--There's underwhelming and then there's Rick Reilly as part of ESPN.

--Greatest Gilbert Arenas quote yet and that's saying something...
"Richard Jefferson going to Milwaukee .... HAHAHA! Oh man, now that is funny. When I heard that, I started laughing. Oh man, did I start laughing. You know why? Because every player hates Milwaukee. Nobody wants to live in Milwaukee. I'm sorry, Milwaukee, to come down hard on you, but no one in the NBA wants to play in Milwaukee. From him going from New Jersey, actually from New York (because he lives in New York), from New York to Milwaukee is like going ... let's just say it's not going to sit well with you. That was a funny one when I heard that one."

--Kevin Powell from Real World is running for Congress?!

--College Football Live back on ESPN next week!

--Nice job America, because an average of 1.6 million of you a week watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians is getting a third season. In other terrible reality show news, Bret is coming back for Rock of Love Bus. Apparently the hectic schedule was too much for Bret and Ambre.

Questions, comments or if you spent over $300 on dinner for two at Oceanaire and it was worth every penny...

Women need to be empowered more in general. They need to use their looks for good rather than use them for personal selfish persuits. That's why I like Megan Fox. She shows that women can do things besides just look good. When you get a moment check out:
